Now, I will let you know at the end of the video that what was my topic for my first blog post that I published. As you might know, I started my blog in October 2016.

So now I’ll list the best topics, which you can choose from to start and write your first blog post. If you are an aspiring blogger and you’re thinking of starting a blog or you already have started a blog and you are going to publish your first post or you already have published a post and you want to publish your next post. 

So now, I’m going to give you some ideas about, which kind of posts, you can post to get engagement and comments on your post when you hit publish.

First one is –

Tell how you use something everyday to achieve results. For example, mobile apps your personal diary etc. 

We use many mobile apps every day, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc, 

And besides these, there are many other apps which we use every day. And now you might be liking a few of them, so you might have some good hacks and tips about them.  So you can write as your first blog post  and share about those tips and hacks. 

Number two is –

Tell  about free products and courses that would be helpful to your audience. 

Make a list of such freebies, link to your friends and notify notify them about it. So, our friends are the first people who see what we are doing. So if you find some cool freebies, then you can now make a list of them and publish as your blog post.

So number three is–

Create a list of hacks that help solve some problem quicker. If you’re a mom, right, you’re taking care of children at home.  And as a result, you might have learned many nurturing and organizational tips. 

If you are an avid exerciser, and as a result, you might have a few quick tips to stay fit and healthy everyday. Or quick tips on how to have more energy everyday. You can just write and make a blog post about that. 

Number four is –

Are holidays around the corner… write what youʼre planning to do. Make a gift to your users. 

So this is October obviously at the end of October we have Halloween. Next month we have Thanksgiving and Diwali. And then we have Christmas in December. So this is going to be all holiday season soon after Halloween. 

Make list of things, what you are going to do during the holidays. If you are planning for them, just share with your audience. 

I like this holiday one because we all prepare for holidays. We do little things, we do big things. I think everyone in The USA celebrate Thanksgiving.

And it’s a turkey day, lot of preparations. Even if you’re not cooking turkey, still you’re going to eat this meal with your family. So whatever you’re planning, you can share.

Or whatever gifts you’re buying for Christmas, your shopping list etc. Or which kind of lighting you’re going to use. Or what kind of tree you’re going to use, if it’s a fake tree or a real tree, etc.

So you can write a blog post about them and share with your audience.

And who doesn’t like holiday preparations and celebrations tips?…

All of us like that.

Number five is –

Shoot a video tutorial on how to use a tool. Now, you can make a small video about how you use any tool, either in your inside the house, or you know in your backyard or in your car or any kind of tool which you like best and which you use. 

For example, if you use a hair iron for your hair maintenance, you share about your experience about that item. Which kind of hair iron you are using.  Is it ceramic so that it it doesn’t burn your hair. Does it keeps your hair straight?

Or any other tools you’re using in your life, you can share a blog post about that and share it.  Because that makes it really interesting, whatever you’re using and if you’re sharing about them. 

Consequently, it brings engagement from people, other people who like that item or tool. 

And number six is –

Write a thank you post and mention, everyone who helped you on your way. 

Definitely, there are many things to be thankful for every single day from morning till evening, until we go to bed. Even after that, we have a lot of things to be thankful for. So write a post about what and who you are thankful for and share it as your blog. 

Number seven is –

Write a checklist of how to do something. 

Yeah, how to do anything, whatever you like the best you can share that, so I’m not gonna go into that but it can be, but there are tons of things which we like to do and we can write about that so create a bullet list that will help users achieve better result. 

And number eight is–

Create a cheat sheet, that will help users to create a better result.

Use buzzsumo or ahrefs content explorer to find popular topics. Even their free versions or 7 day trial will help you find ideas.

When you go to  buzzsumo site, you’re gonna see popular blog posts and popular topics, people are talking about. So you can get clues and ideas from there and then make your own blog posts. 

It’s been like a few months, I haven’t gone there. But before I was going there and I will get tons of ideas from buzzsumo. 

Number ten is –

Tell how to make money in your niche. 

So whichever niche you are in health, wealth, relationship. Who doesn’t like to make more money. All of us do. 

If you have found some tips how to make more money in your niche and then share it with your audience. 

Last one or number eleven is –

Tell your story in a constructive and interesting way. In fact, this is what I chose for my first blog post. When I wrote my first blog post, I wrote about my story. I just had an intuition that I can write my story. I had no idea or didn’t do any research about what should I write.

Let me share with you here that,  somewhere I did  read sometimes on Pinterest that sharing your story is a good idea so that was already in my mind. I mean at that time I did not research or anything I just went ahead with my story. 

And at that time I had something on my chest. So I took it off. Moreover, I shared in a constructive and positive way. 

If you are sharing your personal story, make sure you are using it as a constructive and positive way. Obviously, do not use as a rant or write in a negative tone.

So that, people who are reading your post or watching your video if you’ve one, so they can learn few things, and they get uplifted too. And in addition, they can learn something from your story.
